At NatarGeorgiou

Yesterday, I had the privilege to be present at my wonderful friends' and amazing designer duo NatarGeorgiou Lookbook shoot for their Summer 2013 collection; shot by the talented photographer Harris Kyprianou. Even though I know their work first hand and I do keep following their work religiously, they never stop surprising me each time I come across their new designs.
I am pretty sure you are all familiar with who they are; either from the amazing dress of Eleftheria Eleftheriou at the Eurovision contest (Greece entry), from Vogue Italia frequent posts honoring their work, around the web and at AndriasDose here, here and here.
The two pictures above are from some backstage snaps we took (I'll be posting some more in an upcoming post) and their Instagram account ( find them with the username @Natargeorgiou). The summer 2013 collection maintains the handmade knit trademark we all know but keeps inspiring us with an introduction to a well-blended combination of other luxury materials and fabrics.
What I can say, is that NatarGeorgiou does color - vibrant and fluo color palettes that will get all us uber-enthousiastic fashionistas very - but very - excited
Utterly amazed. Utterly spectacular.
As for me, I went there wearing a simple animal print jumpsuit from H&M and a chain vintage belt.
I could not stop myself from trying all the new stuff and slipping into this amazing blazer I instantly fall in love with. Made by exclusively eco materials - bamboo, lurex/wool fringes and wooden beads sewed one by one.
I put on these neon & perspex platforms and here you go. I hope you like the result as much as I did.
See you again soon. Whoop!
Peace and Love
A.
