Lana's Short Film

Most of the pop stars these days, look out for styling inspiration from designers, trends, catwalks and the future. Elizabeth "Lizzy" Grant, better known as  Lana Del Rey is something else. Always inducing to old Hollywood glamour for her inspirations and style; distinctively unique. Along with her beautifully mysterious voice, tracks you can't help it but have them on constant replay and amazing execution in all her videos, she has justifiably become one of our faves.. The National Anthem - OMG -Summertime Sadness, Blue Jeans, Carmen...all of them; can't name a favorite. Lana is just Lana.
Below, the freshly unveiled short film of her collaboration with the Director - Anthony Mandler, for her re-release debut single 'Born to Die: The Paradise Edition ''Ride'''.
Please do watch it; brilliant! Lana joins a gang and rides a motorbike through the dessert, and does a stunning monologue of about 10 and something minutes long... See some of the monologue below the video..

.....I was always an unusual girl, my mother told me I had a chameleon soul. No moral compass pointing due north, no fixed personality. Just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean....Every night I used to pray that I’d find my people – and finally I did – on the open road. We had nothing to lose, nothing to gain, nothing we desired anymore – except to make our lives into a work of art......LIVE FAST. DIE YOUNG. BE WILD. AND HAVE FUN....And my motto is the same as ever - I believe in the kindness of strangers.....And when I’m at war with myself – I Ride. I Just RideWho are you?... Are you in touch with all of your darkest fantasies? Have you created a life for yourself where you’re free to experience them.I Have.I Am Fucking Crazy. But I Am Free.
Thoughts? Come on you gotta love it..
Peace and Love
