"Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life." ~ Dr. Johnson

It is incredible how after 4 years of living in this city and after exploring it to the bone, I am still discovering hidden gems every single day. It is chaotic but at the same time so cozy; cold but so warm and inspiring. I was with a friend the other day wandering in East London looking for a coffee place. I did not fancy the Starbucks Caramel Latte nor wanted to get my coffee in a plastic cap. Don't get me wrong, I am a Starbucks aficionado; the barrista on Conduit st. greets me with my first name every morning. But I wanted something more relaxing and invigorating; to have a tea in a granny china, flip through magazines, smell flowers and eat delis. There is was, Maison D'Etre. If you are ever in the area, go round; it is one of the coziest places I have ever been, it is something about its energy...and the mouth-watering cakes at the till.. Pistachio, Semolina and Rose water cake, almond praline cake, bounty cake and lemon and ricotta were among my choices! Finger-licking already?
Regarding the outfit; what do you guys think about this beautiful bomber jacket by Zoe Jordan? I am not sure if you can see, but the white sleeves are made of leather.
Love it. What about you? Dope or Nope?

Peace and Love
A.
