Happy New Year

They say that what you do on the first day of the year, is what you will be doing for the rest of it. I had a feast, because this is how I want 2013 to be; a feast, an endless 365-day 'party' - the best it can be.

New Years Eve started with a homemade dinner at one of my closest friends house. Along with amazing appetizers our main dish consisted of fish perfectly cooked with rosemary, sea salt, lots of garlic and herbs accompanied by sweet tomatoes and baby potatoes - #yum. A little bit of heaven on a plate, splendid. Lots of wine, cava and champagne. Oh, I must not forget the amazing cocktail - (recipe courtesy of my friend Adriana) made with vodka and a warm pure mix of apple juice, cinnamon sticks and lots of different spices - I shall ask her for the recipe, you must try it. We then headed to Shoreditch House - one of London's most beautiful rooftops -  for the countdown and the amazing fireworks for when the clock struck 12. We had (more) drinks, danced etc etc..

Today, I woke up to a truly generous London weather with an amazingly sunny day injecting huge doses of positivity and energy - a natural high. I got ready and headed to The Wolseley to meet my friends for a high tea session, some bites and serious girl talk.
